I haven't been tracking it at all to be honest. Just hit hard with burnout and struggling a bit to get back into my old groove of recording and editing content. Arma especially tends to be offputting because of all the work it requires to do even a mediocre video. Things are fine here, going on my first proper vacation in like 4 years soon, which I am kind of excited for. Though it's only for 4 days and the drive there and back will eat up essentially a day between the two. But great to hear you had fun on the 4th.

Yeah, I you are certainly right. I feel this is best treated for what it probably is, which is a one off project to test unreal 5 or something.

Yeah. As a concept for what can be done with Star Wars in Unreal5 it’s perfectly fine, but not something I’d want to play more than once. If the dev just turned it into Star Wars CoD Zombies with multiple maps, weapons, and other stuff you’d have gold (there’s this game that’s basically CoD Zombies with the serial numbers filed off called Sker Ritual. It looks interesting, but I’m not going to play it until it has more content). Hoard modes are one of my FAVORITE things in games. I’ve sunk who knows how many hours into CoD Zombies, Halo Firefight (from what I’ve seen thanks to multiplayer bots, campaign ai, and scripting Infinite’s Firefight is phenomenal. I just haven’t played it since I’ve been playing other games. Let’s hope if the rumors about a CE remake are true they’ll have Firefight and a bunch of other stuff the future games added. Although, I’m not going to hold my breath for that), and Gears of War’s Hoard mode (let’s hope the E-Day game is a return to form. The trailer definitely looked cool how it made the Locust Drone into a credible threat. It makes me think of how Elite vs Spartan fights are portrayed in the Halo books. They should really make a Gears collection. Why they haven’t done something that would print money and revitalize the franchise is beyond me).

No, I can't really imagine why. Unless you are on a server running other mods that require permission to pilot it.

Lol you really want that resistance mod don't you? I have seen the Halo show, I tend to go off on rants and tangents in some videos. I couldn't talk about the Halo show alone because it would just be me complaining in circles for an hour and a half just looping back around into the same issues I already complained about. Season 2 was an improvement, but still not really good for most fans of the games.

Yeah😂. For whatever reason I’ll hyper fixate on something, then after a while something else will come along and grab my interest. Not entirely sure why this is the case. Although, there are a few things that I’ll continue to stay interested in and will cycle through (Alien, Halo, Fallout Chris Chan/lolcow content, Star Wars, and a few other things are on that list). Do you know if there’s any chance that Webknight will abandon modding retirement and make a Resistance mod, or is it not really something he’s ever showed interest in? I hope he’s doing alright whatever he’s doing. It’s also safe to say that a Resistance rts fam game/mod WON’T happen because Resistance sadly didn’t take off, and the fanbase almost certainly doesn’t overlap with the rts crowd (something like Halo Wars was a fluke). Some guy made a Legend of Zelda rts that shockingly fleshed out, but he sadly stopped working on it because the Zelda fandom hasn’t cared (previously mentioned problem where the fanbase doesn’t really overlap), and his Star Fox fan game has EXPLODED in popularity after getting Krystal’s original voice actress and other people to help work on the game’s voices. Makes sense. In addition to the fact the video would be rambly and loop on itself the thing has already been done to death by others. I’m sure you’d be able to add some interesting things, but you’d be a little late to the party. Such a shame the show ended up the way it did. I remember once asking you what your ideal Halo show was and you said it would be an anthology that follows soldiers during the war. That would definitely be interesting, but to show how brutal the war was the you’d have to have a revolving door for cast members. By then end maybe only a few of the original squad members would’ve survived, or it’s just the same unit in name only. My ideal show would have the first season adapt CE and its surrounding material, then season 2 would give us Bungie’s original vision for 2. You’d also have various changes to the narrative here and there to improve the thing, and tie it in with lore that didn’t exist at the time. Once during one of these discussions I rambled on about how a lot of projects likely wouldn’t have the skills or funding necessary to pull a faithful adaptation off. There was some confusion because I was under the assumption that you knew I was referring to fan works in that scenario, despite the fact I failed to mention what I was actually talking about. From the fan media I’ve seen there’s a wide range in quality. Some are really good, while others are mediocre at best and look super amateurish.

@@shreksnow1918 I am not really certain what Web has going on right now truth be told. I haven't ever heard of him being into Resistance before, but I would be lying if I said I knew a lot of stuff about him outside of the mod work he has actually done already. In general I have fallen off pretty hard from Optre and the like, I have intended to go back and do another video on it. But I have been procrastinating hard on it. As for fan projects when talking movies and tv episodes. Part of the reason they run the gambit, is some are literally just normal fans doing it. But then you have stuff like Star trek Axanar or Star Trek Continues. Which are being done by Hollywood professionals who have fan funded their projects and they also get big name actors.

You definitely should if you get the chance. Do you think you might also finish playing Halo 2 Uncut at some point? I’m guessing the reason you haven’t finished it after it got updated is due to a lack of time and you’ve been more interested in doing other things with your free time. It’s really interesting seeing what ideas Bungie had that got scrapped. When I played through the mod I had a blast during certain sections, but there’s some areas I’m VERY happy got changed (the Wraith is far more useful in retail, and same goes for the Ghosts). It’s too bad that the Shadow (favorite vehicle for whatever vehicle) was only in one mission. If you get the time you should watch C3Sabertooth’s videos animating Halo 2’s storyboards. Those are really interesting. What other things do you think you’ll do videos on? I’m guessing it’s more Arma mod updates once a sizable chunk of new content is available, and simulator games. Hopefully, you’re having fun with those.

@@shreksnow1918 It's something I would like to get around to doing at some point. Well, I for sure have plans for ongoing videos with Starship Simulator. I plan to continue with news and development coverage for this, and would like to maybe do a star trek style series of videos for it, with a set crew doing semi-roleplay stuff. Stormworks came out with some new content, so I kind of want to get back into that a bit again. And then Infection Free Zone just released, so I would be interested in playing that if I get some free cash.

I'm not part of the development team. But the dev uses Sketchup for the design of the ship.

@@ODSTGeneralYT I’m aware, I was only curious about the 3D software because I wanted to strike up a conversation with you, I tend to use Blender and 3D Maya, I’m going to dive into Sketchup soon, nice thank you for responding. By the way the starship looks almost similar to Vulcan starship, I recommend to make the nacelles narrower so the heat that goes through it can vent out or can be removed like modular.

@@WarlordMoA Well the nacelles are not finalized yet, so its possible the dev will do that with them.

@@ODSTGeneralYT current starship designs have no nacelles just a very large unimaginative tube cylinder, if we put our heads together we might come up with an intriguing design for the nacelles.

Well a lot of space will end up being dedicated to those thing. Of course some stuff like food and spare parts will not need vast amounts of storage, as advanced 3D printers will be able to to convert raw resources on the fly.

@@Spoodermansy Potentially, I have been kind of taking a break from RUclips. Struggled a bit to stay motivated and consistent with videos this past year. And I just moved and was unable to record as a result. So I just decided to make a break of it and try to get re-motivated again.
